HOW TO PLAN OFFICE SPACE THE PLANN:D WAY

Planning an office space isn’t as straightforward an affair as you might think. If you want your office to do much of the hard work for your employees, inspiring them and sharpening their focus, you need to take the right approach: scattering desks and chairs randomly around the room won’t achieve what you’re after.

Anybody can make an office ‘fun’ or ‘exciting’ given free rein – and practically anyone can design an office which is functional. The key to a productive, cheerful working environment lies, however, in doing both.

That’s exactly what we do here at Plann:d. So, what’s our office space planning process?

Consultation

It all starts with the consultation. Beginning with an initial chat over the phone or via email, we’ll arrange to visit your workspace in person to really get a feel for what your company is all about.

We study the minutiae, from coffee-making conventions through to indoor plant preferences. And, of course, we don’t overlook the big stuff: we’ll ask about your company’s culture and future ambitions, building a mental picture of exactly the kind of office your team needs.

Plan

This is where your ideas begin to come to life. We take into account all of your requirements (like conference rooms, seating areas, brainstorming hubs) and preferences, throwing in a few well thought-out suggestions.

If you like what you see, great! If you want to refine the concept further, no problem – we will work with you at every step of the way to make sure your new workspace materialises in just the way you imagined (or even better).

Select

With the planning phase behind us, it’s time to source the items that’ll fill your shiny new office. Adhering strictly to your budget and taste, we’ll recommend products which are both stylish and functional.

Install

The most exciting part – the crescendo, if you will. With all of your new furniture and decorations ready to go, we’ll return to install it all according to the plan devised previously. And don’t worry: we’re used to completing refurbishments in active offices, so we’ll make sure we keep out of your way as best we can and minimise the impact of our work on your team’s.
