Having outgrown its former premises, ES Broadcast relocated to a much larger facility, bringing its sales and hiring operations together under one roof. We were tasked with reimagining its office space from the ground up.

About The ES Broadcast Project

 

A leader in its field, ES Broadcast specialises in selling and hiring used broadcasting equipment from leading brands like Sony, Canon and Sennheiser. Having worked with high-profile clients across Europe and the USA for more than a decade, the company had well and truly established itself as a major player – and its existing headquarters were simply not large enough to accommodate this growth.

Once a suitable location had been found, ES Broadcast turned to Plann:d. The 14,000 sq ft facility was split into sections – and we were tasked with supplying furniture for the office area.

 

Having previously used us as an office furniture supplier, the team at ES Broadcast didn’t hesitate to give us a call when they’d found their new space. Plann:d worked in collaboration with ES Broadcast’s fit-out company and designer to install 40 desks and ensure the best outcome for the company. We also relocated the furniture from their two offices as part of the solution.

I stayed in touch with Nicola at Plann:d, as I really liked how they ran the business. They came in very competitive once again because they’re able to supply a mix of new and pre-owned furniture, which Plann:d access via their sister company. And because I liked the company as well, it was only natural to ask them to supply the furniture for our new office

During the consultation phase, it became quite clear what furniture was needed. We recycled all of our furniture from the previous building, because it was in very good condition. Plann:d provided us with new chairs and other items that were reconditioned to a very high standard. Frankly, it all looked brand new.

Once we’d spoken to Chris and the team to understand their requirements, we set about sourcing furniture which would not only suit their preferences and budget but also complement the existing furniture they’d moved over from their old office space. Chris and the team at ES Broadcast were thrilled with the outcome.

 

The furniture we were able to source matched their existing items perfectly, giving the space a coherent style and offering comparative value for money compared with buying brand-new designer office furniture. All in all, it was a win-win for the growing firm.

We were really pleased with the service once again. This is the second time we’ve used Plann:d, and we love the style of their business – it’s a family business, and there’s no nonsense. When you call them, you can easily get through to the right person, and they’re really easy to deal with. 

We had some stakeholders who were very specific with their needs. Plann:d were able to show us plenty of different options, which made the whole process much easier – we were able to find exactly what we were looking for.

We really wanted a designer feel for the office. The design as a whole works really well; Plann:d offered us a really cost-effective solution that met the budget and looks slick. We’re really pleased with how the project went.
