About The Mediablaze Project

As a digital customer experience agency, Mediablaze offer the complete package from the design and build of technology solutions for brands to content and performance management. Working in central London it was important for them to create a space where staff felt comfortable and clients could experience the agency’s DNA.

As is often the case with rapidly growing agencies, office interiors can become nothing more than a practical space. For Mediablaze, their investment in a new building brought about a new focus. To ensure they got longevity from the office, they needed to invest in quality products and create a creative and professional flow to the overall space. This was not going to be simple with constraints on timing and budgets.

Working with a project manager, the brief was to find the right companies who could deliver what was needed. A quality search for high-end interior finishes was undertaken and the team at Plann:d was found. Discussing ideas together and viewing samples was a key step in finding what was possible. As an office interior design company, we ensured every element would fit with the design, bringing all the details together for an exciting and effective working environment.

We’ve used shared collaborative working spaces in the past, but they always felt a bit soulless. The agency had grown rapidly and we knew the time was right for us to stamp our own identity on the office space.

The building was empty – just a warehouse with wooden floors and white walls. We needed a solution that would give us an open plan office with main board room, breakout zones and a kitchen area

The fabric of a building is so important for the well-being of your staff but is not always considered a priority. We knew we wanted to make this space our own and are as impressed with the outcome as  our clients are.

As with any creative agency, we have a team of designers and even they are blown away. They can’t wait to get their hands on the walls and start branding to complement the interior finish

Consistency in style and design was the name of the game. Using our showroom, the client was able to review options, discuss ideas and consider quantities and lead-times before making any decisions. Their chosen furniture was the backdrop for a complementary theme which was carried throughout the office. Vibrant sofas set against a blank grey canvas created a real ‘wow factor’ in reception, while the Sven Christiansen table with oak legs made for a beautifully balanced boardroom that had elements of both domestic and office living.

Through their striking and agile working environment, Mediablaze has been able to inject their sense of creativity into the office space. Staff feel part of the company and clients can absorb the atmosphere of a professional creative agency in action. Personality and flair simply ooze from every corner of a once bare warehouse. Staff now feel connected to their office space as it has become a place they enjoy spending time, working with colleagues; collaborating and relaxing in the balance of working and recreational areas.

It’s fair to say that the whole team absolutely love the new office. From a mental health perspective, it’s a great space that makes you feel relaxed and comfortable while working in a supportive environment.
